Hi, I’m Elaina Smith — a first-year business student at the University of Nevada, Reno, with a strong interest in marketing, operations, and entrepreneurship. I’m originally from Las Vegas, and I’ve always been driven by a mix of creativity, ambition, and curiosity about how people, brands, and systems work.
I’m majoring in Business and plan to build a foundation in areas like marketing, analytics, and information systems. I’m also preparing to study abroad with USAC in the future, with a personal goal of living and studying in Poland to strengthen my language skills, experience new cultures, and push myself outside of my comfort zone.
Alongside school, I work at Dutch Bros as a Broista, where I’ve developed strong communication skills, customer engagement experience, and the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure. I’ve also gained hands-on skills in digital design, Canva, Photoshop, website creation, and Excel through coursework and personal projects.
Athletics have always been a huge part of my life — from gymnastics to volleyball to track and field. Sports taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of consistency, skills I now apply to both school and work. I’m also passionate about travel, digital creativity, learning languages, and exploring new environments.
My long-term goal is to build a career that combines business, creativity, and impact — whether in marketing, operations, or something I have yet to discover. I value growth, independence, and new experiences, and I’m excited to see where my education and opportunities lead me next.
